In addition to my profession as a CPA, I am also a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain and deliver sailing and motor yachts around the world. Go to worldwideyachtdelivery.com.  The vessels I have delivered include everything from a 1966 53' Huckins FairForm Flyer motor yacht to ultralight racing boats to a 63' Cheoy Lee Motor Sailor. I have extensive experience in U.S. Waters, including Alaska and Hawaii, throughout the Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, the Sea of Cortez and the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans including Panama Canal Transits.  I'm also a PADI Certified Rescue Diver.  Currently I am enjoying sailing around the Hawaiian islands with my family on our MacGregor 65 with plans to one day circumnavigate the globe.

First Mate Terri Carney

I have been boating all my life.  I grew up as a "lake rat" in Texas - water skiing and sailing Hobie Cats.  I met my husband, Rusty in 1985, and we took a scuba diving course together and got our PADI Open Water Certification in Cozumel, Mexico.  The water was so intoxicating!  We couldn't wait to return to caribbean waters.  My husband grew up sailing in Corpus Christi Bay and talked me into chartering a sailing yacht to go scuba diving in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands where he would be the captain and I would be his first mate (actually, "chief cook and bottle washer").  We enjoyed it so much, we sold everything we owned and purchased a sailboat to start a charter service in St. Thomas, U.S.Virgin Islands.  We raised our son, Chase, in the caribbean on a sailboat and we've been sailing ever since.

Bosun's Mate Chase Carney

My life started out on a sailboat. The nursery on the sailboat was decorated with Mickey Mouse and all the other Disney characters up in the v-berth. Each day was a day at the beach, playing in the park, swimming in the resort pool and riding my tricycle up and down the docks. I recieved my PADI Junior Open Water Certification at age 10. I've loved the water and all that goes with it from day one!  I'm certain that all the experiences I had growing up around the water helped me achieve Eagle Scout Rank by age 14.  Now that I'm 16, our boat is in Hawaii and I get to surf places that most surfers only dream of.  I'm always happiest in and on the water!
